Britain's James Dunn made history this past weekend by becoming the first 2 stroke rider to win an EMX250 round!

In heavy and slippery conditions (to say the least!) James proved what a 250 2 stroke can do against the 250 four strokes and put an amzing performance to take the overall win with a 2-3 scorecard on his GL12 Racing KTM 250. The rider from Swindon certainly finished the year in style. At the beginning of the year he wasn't even racing and then the opportunity came to replace the injured Lewis Gregory and compete in the EMX300 and new British 2 stroke championship. Here he put on two awesome motos as he charged through the pack.

After a steady first month finding his way again after his sabbitcial, James has been getting in the groove and better and better with each passing race. He has certainly turned some heads at the final GP of the year by winning the EMX250. So much so that the FIM checked James' bike to make sure it was a 250cc and not anything bigger! The GL12 team thought they'd do it for a bit of fun and 'to see how they go on'! Well now, maybe they'll be doing more in the future.

It's been a pleasure to support the GL12 KTM team this year with our exhaust systems. Bob Buchanan and his band of merry men - Mike Kras and James, have done us proud. Well done lads on a great year. Here's to 2018 eh?
